I’ve spent the past 30 years working in the food and beverage industry- it’s where my heart is! It always been a dream to one day open my own bar. A place that was unique, fun and welcoming. A place that created memories.

When it came time to look for a trailer I knew I didn't want just any trailer, I wanted something different, I wanted it to be perfect. I spent several months looking online but couldn’t find what I wanted. Then, in August 2022, while at my sister in-law Laurie and late brother in-law Ted Hannon’s home, I noticed an old horse trailer tucked away on the property- it was Ted’s. Like myself, Ted was a lover of old things and planned to restore the 1980’s horse trailer, but sadly Ted unexpectedly passed in 2020 and never had the chance to. Immediately, I knew Ted’s trailer was the “perfect” trailer I had been looking for. That day I told my sister in-law Laurie about my mobile bar idea and with her shared enthusiasm and generosity my journey began. 

 

Wondering where the name came from? When asked by friends “what are you up to”, Ted's witty response would usually be "I'm Drinkn’ about it'.
